Tiana Austel
Sr Manager, Employee Engagement, eBay
Professional community architect fostering deep connections through purposeful programming and inclusive spaces.
Following in the footsteps of her ancestors, Tiana Austel is a professional community builder—designing transformational volunteering programs infused with storytelling, learning, and shared meals that foster a deep sense of belonging. Whether hosting her monthly themed supper clubs for friends or leading multi-million-dollar employee engagement campaigns, Tiana’s goal is to create magical moments that spark joy, creativity, and connectedness. She envisions a future where every individual has the opportunity not only to survive but to thrive in a world that celebrates their intersectional identities.
Today, Tiana manages eBay’s employee engagement programs, which include the company’s matching gift program, its global volunteer ambassador network, and the employee-informed grantmaking program Global Give.
Beyond her role at eBay, she serves on the boards of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy and I Love a Clean San Diego, while also informally advising Golden Guide - a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying and connecting AANHPI small businesses, creators, and community builders through curated directories, events, and collaborative programming.
